Just saw this while strolling through MSN.

Any predictions as to where he goes and what round?

Just a wild guess...he'll go on the second day.

And I think he's wrong. I think he's the best Qb in the class.

Vernon Adams is a fantastic college quarterback. However, I don't think that will transfer to the NFL and the scouts know it.

People want to make Russell Wilson comparisons, but the only things they have in common are height and scramble to throw ability. Russell Wilson has a thick build, is much faster, very intelligent, big hands, and has an injury prevention potion. Vernon Adams cramps during the hard games, has been injured several times in college, is very thin framed, and is 40 times were unimpressive.

I don't think Vernon will be drafted, because there is no team that could reasonably expect him to develop into a full time starter. His body just isn't made for it. If he does get drafted, it will be only because the QB market is dry, not because he is going to emerge in the NFL.

There will be a lot of teams willing to give him a shot in free agency. As a matter of fact, I expect the Seahawks to try to bring him into camp. Free Agency is where he will get his shot.

I don't think VA is going to get drafted. He had the odds stacked against him going into his pro day and his performance didn't help him at all. I have a feeling he will end up in the CFL, where I think he will do really well.

Where ever he ends up, I think he'll do really well. He has that "it" factor, all he does is make things happen. Personally, I'd like to see him in the CFL since I think he'd have a better chance at playing and really succeeding at that level versus being a professional Microsoft surface holder in the NFL. Imagine Adams/Mitchell dueling it out for years to come.

I have a feeling someone's going to take a shot at him in a later round. He's got tremendous intangibles that are going to be hard to ignore. Long term, though, I wonder if he might be better suited for a career in the CFL. Either way he's going to be playing at the next level, and that's great.

EWURanger,
He has an opportunity to attend Seahawks Training Camp, and Washington Redskins Camp if things doesn't work out with Seahawks. Glad to see Neary is with Denver, DeBorg is with Arizona Cardinals. I think about 4 Quarter Backs were drafted, and left Vernon looking. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Here is another Recruit that was here earlier and is supposed to graduate in 2017. Zelan Tupuola, from California, didn't get his school. He was talking with Coach Best, which means he could be another OL. He looks like he may be 300 lbs, about 6' 3". Vic Walace

There's an embedded post-practice interview with Adams, as well as a slideshow of photos.

Hope he beats Boykin.

Looks like the Seahawks will continue with Boykin and Vernon will tryout with the Redskins.
