• Hi Guest,

    We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

    With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

If anyone is really feeling sorry for themselves this weekend, just stop on by the Vandal Forum and read about the WAC. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=205&f=3864&t=8704037" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Welcome back Vandals!!

I find it funny. The Vandals have only known success, football wise, in the FCS ranks. They claim to be this great football school, yet, it was their basketball team that has merited the most success. Even though Weber has finished in the Top 25 the most times, it was Idaho that finished the highest for a Big Sky School. #8 in, I believe, 1982. Yes, Weber almost beat them in the Semi-Final game that year too in Moscow.

With the way some of thier fans are acting, I hope they dont get invited to the SUPER CONFERENCE, go independant because they refuse to "drop down" continue to lose and lose and lose and eventually have to drop football to save the school money.

That's what I want for Idaho, I dont want them back, I want them to go down burning in flames

It sucks to be Idaho :rofl:

:lol:

But...lets face it. If this was happening to Weber, we would all be pissed to. Thankfully, Weber just does what it needs to and expands slowly and evenly. Thats all we can do.

The difference with Weber and Idaho is Weber State didnt have Delusions of grandeur and that they knew that the FCS is where they belonged, unlike Idaho who went reaching for the stars but had thier feet glued to the ground, and are now stuck in a world of complete suckness

Its funny how they talk with an air of superiority, like they have accomplished anything in the FBS ranks :rofl:

And I hate how the FCS is looked at as Div 2 there are 3 subdivisions in Division 1. BCS, FBS and FCS they are ALL division 1. Idaho does not and will never play at the highest level of Div 1 football

Actually, An ISU fan on thier site said that Idaho has been in talks with the Big Sky and has said that (remember this is what he is saying he heard) that if the WAC folded and it looks to be going that way, that Idaho would return to the Big Sky in everything but football, and they would use the next 3 years to reduce football scholarships to drop it back down to the FCS. So after a span of about 4 years, Idaho would once again be a full Member of the Big Sky conference.

This is of course (according to the poster) would only happen if the WAC folds.
