Weber State has also announced a non-conference series with fellow Big Sky member Sacramento State. The Wildcats and Hornets will play a home-and-home series beginning Sept. 13, 2014 in Sacramento. The two teams will then meet on Sept. 19, 2015 at Stewart Stadium in Ogden. The Big Sky opponents have met each year since 1996 but are not scheduled to play conference games in 2014 and 2015. Both scheduled games will be non-conference games and will not count in the Big Sky standings.

Sac-Weber has been a good rivalry from the time we joined the league. Good competition, and no true hatred. That's the best kind of rivalry (outside of a close geographic rivalry like we have with Davis): a friendly one.

Would be nice to see these games on TV.

Sacramento is the 20th largest media market in the USA.

Hopefully the Big Sky powers that be get it together and put the biggest Big Skyschool on TV. Seems like a no brainer..

Doubtful. Root Sports is a PacNW centric network hence the large amount of PSU and EWU games on this season’s lineup. It's up to Wanless to seek out other TV opportunities.
