Homecoming highlights

I wonder if that QB has exhausted his eligibility. We could use one with some legs. Not surprised the officiating hasn't improved either.

Eagledawg, must admit that is one of the coolest things ive seen in many moons! Love the band, marching girls and batonists so much!! AWESOME thx man!

Yes I thought this was cool also, color film in 1939 was very rare. The first color movie shown
in theaters was Disneys snow white in 1937 but often it is credited to The wizard of oz in 1939.
After all, how many color highlights can you find of Gonzaga football?

Won't be long and all these students will be thrust into WWII. Wonder how many didn't survive the war?

In the discription, the man speaking to the crowd is governor Clarence Martin (with hat off) who Washington states fooball stadium is named after, even though he was a husky. Note: Martin was mayor of Cheney in the early 30's.

Agree, those batonist (majorettes?) with their skirts above their knees must have gotten alot of looks!

I think this clip or at least part of it should be shown on the video screen at the next homecoming game!

Also the team Eastern beat at the game was WWU, too bad they threw in the towel on football!
