Hoops Schedule

Details on this upcoming season are slowly unfolding. Looks like a much better schedule than we've had in years past. Home games against BYU, Utah State & Fresno State along with a road game at Duquesne of the Atlantic Coast Conference as well as a the 3 game Jersey Mike's Tournament in Florida with Green Bay from the Horizon League committed to play in it. Here's the Standard link with more information.

Looks like a good schedule to me. However, I'm sure there will still be posters unhappy about it. It's all good, I understand their passion and want the same things they do. We will be mostly happy with a sweet 16 appearance or better. There will still be some who will find fault with anything you do. For me, I just love the game and love my Alma Mater. I'm happy to be alive and enjoying the game.

This is going to be the best non conference home schedule we have had since I have been a fan. I started in 2003. I noticed the article didn't say we play UVU. We played them at home last year I think so it would be our turn to go to Orem. I would rather play them on the road then play St. Katherine College of the girl scout cookie club at home. I would like to limit those Church basketball level games to 1 per season, but that is just me. USU and BYU at home in the same year is a dream. I love the mid major tournament. I think we will be good and I'm definitely getting season tickets this year.
