They are really fun to watch. It's like a bunch of Tasmanian Devils on the floor, diving for lose balls, fighting for rebounds and constantly moving. First game I've been to in a couple of years and I will be going to more! Great time at the Nest today.

My daughter after the game when we were walking to the car she told me: "It was such an amazing game dad, I admit I was scared in the begining since Saint Mary's was undefeated. But it was far the best basketball game I've been to, the game was honestly like perfect. I would rather watch them than the Kings. The game so so exciting like with all the turnovers and Sac State with the full court press just jumping and grabbing it from them."

Love our Coach Bunky!!!!! Brand new coach taking a Hornet team to the best start in Div I history. Got to love that.

Would love to see Hornet Gym packed for theh women's team. That would be wonderful to see Sac State become a women's basketball known type of school. Great to see the studnets come, out , the community come out and heck, maybe even a pep band that seemsto be missing the past two years.

What will Wanless do with regard to Bunky? Start looking for a new coach. With the events center dead, there is no reason for him to stick around once a better job opening becomes available. With a pending events center at least there was a chance at keeping a good coach around. No chance in hell any coach with any upward mobility stays longer than a season or two.

Same with the men’s side of the equation. With the hope of an events center there was a reason to keep tuned into Hornet hoops as there would likely have been a significant upgrade in recruiting. Now with another events center plan kaput, may as well give Katz a lifetime contract as it is apparent this administration is content with where this program is. To be honest there just isn't much of a reason to stay tuned into Hornet hoops (at least on the men's side hno: ).

The Women were picked 6th and 9th in the BSC preseason polls. Now they are the only BSC team ranked and have the best non conference record in the BSC. It's going to be interesting, keep it going!
