Hornets @ Bengals

I haven’t seen a thread for the upcoming game here but I am wondering what the thoughts of some Bengal fans for the upcoming game are. Two years ago the Hornets waltzed into Holt Arena and were not ready whatsoever. I am very worried this could happen again as the Hornets could very well be looking ahead at the big rivalry game with cal-davis in the last game of the season. I also posted a game preview on Sac Buzz.

Thoughts? :?:

Pretty cool write up, SDHornet.

I'm guessing many ISU fans have turned the page and have their sights on basketball, and the direction of the football program after ISU's last game v. EWU on 20-Nov.

Personally, I pegged this game as one of two BSC home wins for ISU. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, can only go so far, and ISU has had trouble closing out games...or at least capitalizing on opponents' mistakes to bring home a "W".

Senior day is huge. Even if the players aren't playing for the coaching staff, then at least play for each other, especially for the seniors. If ISU can hold onto the ball, mount any resemblance of a running game, and prevent the "game changing" play on DEF, ISU can win.

I think they will.

24 - ISU
21 - SacSt

The Idaho State football team dropped its final home game of the season to Sacramento State, 45-17 on Saturday afternoon at Holt Arena on Senior Day. The Bengals dropped to 1-9 and 0-7 in Big Sky play while Sacramento State improved to 6-4 and finished Big Sky play with a 5-3 mark.
