Hornets Have Poor Showing at Eastern...

The Green Hornet

and get thumped 85 to 72. The first half was awful as EWU clearly came to play and out intensified us as we had no answer or "D" trailing at one point by 19 and 45 to 29 at halftime - pathetic.

The Hornets did get it down to 4 fairly late in the game, but to no avail and we continue to be a lousy road team against a team we should really beat. I figure we can kiss the last three road games good-bye too, so that means we'll have to take 3 of our last 4 home games to make the playoffs; probably won't happen again this year - depressing hoops year - again!

Boy GH.....that's an awfully big black cloud hangin over you. I don't give up that easily. Let's see what happens at Portland.

Naw there is a black cloud hanging over this hoops program. No excuse for a first half no-show coming in on a 4 game winning streak. This team just wasn’t ready to go. EWU was one of the “easier” road games left, next “easiest” might be ISU in a couple weeks; plus the remaining home slate will be tough. I agree that there are plenty of opportunities left but given the track record under Katz I completely understand where GH is coming from. Man I hope this team can sneak into the BSCT but after that poor showing last night… :|
