So with a 5 point lead and about 5 minutes left in the game, ISU gets an offensive rebound and drills a 3 to pull within 2. Instead of going for the win, the Hornets runs a perimeter passing scheme to run clock and settles for long shots, mostly 3 pointers. Needless to say this doesn’t work as the Hornets are not a good perimeter shooting team. There was never an attempt made to go for the win and put the game away. The Hornets then continued to turn the ball over with under two minutes left but were able to hit a 3 to tie the game with 50 seconds left. As normal, Katz was able to get the Hornets to battle back from a 10 point halftime deficit and at least tried hard.

The Hornets had a chance to win the game with 10 seconds and the game tied at 60 but again Katz had no play ready and it went to OT. He ran that same stupid high screen to TB that didn’t work against EWU, and it didn’t work against ISU. Wow Katz, really. C’mon man!

68-63 ISU final. The Hornets don't even make a field goal in OT and struggled from the FT as well. The Hornets are now 0-4 in OT and have only made one FG in all of their OT minutes. Katz again fails to find victory with a late lead.
 
Sounds a whole lot like UOP's last game. Come out like crap and endure a double-digit deficit. Fight back to tie the score with less than a minute left only to lose on a Foolerton trey with 0.4 left. Sucks to lose late, but simultaneously know that there were plenty of opportunities early.

Now if only both the Tigs and the Hornets would start shooting consistently for 40 minutes....
