Sac State won the Big Sky Championship in women's indoor track with a 107 point performance at the league meet. The closest competitor was Portland State with 93. The Hornet men finished third behind NAU and MSU.

Sac's Sakya Bolton split the MVP award with athletes from MSU and PSU. She broke the fifteen-year-old record 55m hurdles record with a time of 7.77.

All of this comes on the heels of three individual titles by Sac on Friday: Bolton in the long jump (19'2.5"), Zach Coniglio in the shot put (58'10"), and and Erinn Jones in the shot. Jones heaved the shot 65'6.75" to set a new school record in winning the title by four feet. Coniglio won by 21.75 inches. Twenty-four Hornet ladies and 23 guys advanced to Saturday's event finals; that's quite impressive. The guys finished fourth and the girls third in the DMR, which is one gruelling event; the guys posted the fifth fastest DMR time in school history with a 10:14.87.

WTG, Hornets!!!
