Hotels near WSU for Eastern Washington Game

Hello, first post here, just looking for a good hotel near the football field for this game on Saturday night the 22nd of September, with maybe some night life afterwords. I'm a player parent and would appreciate some help. Thanks and good luck this weekend vs McNeese.

Days Inn (Used to be a Holiday Inn many years ago) around 34th or 35th street on Washington Blvd is probably the closest hotel to WSU. It is about five to ten minutes away by car from campus & the football stadium. Don't know your budget, but about a mile north of there in downtown Ogden there is the Marriott, Ben Lomand Suites, Hampton Inn or Hilton Gardens. Those are all nicer hotels in the downtown area near several clubs on 25th street.

Not to make this a commercial but I have to chime in here. I own the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn in Layton. It is about a 15 min drive south of the stadium. There are a lot of eating and shopping within walking distance. We are offering a 69. game rate.
Go Eagles

:roll: Ya, stay in Layton if your goal is to stay within walking distance to every mediocre National chain restaurant you can think of.

Wow, have a bad experience eating out at Outback Steakhouse?

I just ended up booking a room at the Marriott for $95. Got a rental car on Priceline for $12, so I appear set. Is that 25th St Brewery benind the Marriott worth a go? It's close! Thanks for all the help.

I assume you're talking about Roosters. If so, Roosters has good food and is worth a visit. Can't really complain about any of the eateries on 25th St. Also, 25th St will be hosting the Harvest Moon Celebration on Sat. Hope you enjoy your visit. http://www.historic25.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

talon,

your staying at the nicest hotel in ogden and you likely will see your team there too. as far as rooster's it is a popular place in ogden and it is a brewpub which are few and far between in the state of utah and surprisingly legal.

ogdengodfather wouldl likely recommend you their polygamy pale ale which is his favorite being the owner of several sister-wives. he is the warren of weber.

:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
Seriously though Talon, you will be near to some very good establishments, go check out the area that is called the Junction which is between 23rd-25th on Washington.

Hey faithfull,
Thanks for all the postings. Looks like I'll be headed to Roosters on 25th, or the other place from above post within 1 minute of Marriott. I'll have my Eagle gear on so won't be hard to miss, haha. Doesn't sound like to many fans making the the trip to Weber, but guess we'll see at game time.
Once again, thanks for all the local info, appreciate it!
