Howdy from Texas

Hey guys, meant to sign up over hear earlier. Looking forward to the game this weekend, both of us have a lot to prove and play for this season.

Question, is there no video feed online for the game?

Also, feel free to stop by LumberjackFans.com.

The video feed is free but you have to register first. Big Sky TV is notoriously fickle so If I were you I would sign up early and try it out in advance. Get the bugs worked out.

Good luck Saturday. I'm expecting a close game. Can't Wait!

Ah, that's right. I remember that from our game against Montana State last year.

I don't know what to expect from us this year. We've got a really talented team, and if you don't know much about us we're an "air raid" style offense. Last year we had 679 pass attempts, avg of 61 per game. But that's also been our downfall. Our QB is a returning starter and has had 44 INTs in the last two season. :wall: And for the first time in probably ever, our best player is our RB. We are also on our 4th OC in 4 years...so who knows? ha

I think this will be a good game, and a great matchup for both of us to start with.

First game goals:

1) Be competitive, play to win.
2) Learn something about yourself.
3) Come out of it healthy.
4) Have fun.

Every team in the nation has those goals. That is what I expect from both sides. no matter what the outcome. This game should be a great one. I hope we meet up with you guys often in the future. :coffee:

Welcome SFA!! Us Wildcat fans understand the coaching carousel too. The Cats have had three different OC's in the last year! Hahaha. Anyway, right now, we have a really good one. Our OC is Montana's old coach and so far you can see a huge difference in what the Cats were doing last year, to what we are doing now. Should be an interesting game. I like watching teams that air it out a lot. 44 INTS though. Yikes!! How many TD's has he thrown in the same amount of time? That reminds me of one of our past QBs; Cameron Higgins. He threw, I believe, 97 TDs in his career, but had a lot of INTs. Some that cost the team wins. He had a knack of throwing picks in the endzone.

Do you have a list of your starters for Saturday's game? Does anyone have a list of who our starters are going to be for Saturday's game??

Brady Attaway is the name of our QB, btw:

2011: 299-495, 3181 yds with 27 TDs and 22 INTs
2012: 334-570, 3671 yds with 29 TDs and 21 INTs

So 43 INTs instead of 44! Don't have a depth chart released yet, as far as I know. Here is the roster however:

First game ever between both schools, Lets hope for a great competetive INJURY-LESS first game of the year, and Good luck to SFA on what will hopefully be a great season for both teams.

GO WILDCATS

Any SFA fans making their way North to Ogden? If so, feel free to hit up the board if you have any questions regarding lodging, eats, and sights to see. Also, I'm sure there will be some tailgating, and most Wildcat fans are gracious and welcoming. Come by and say hi before the game.

Football is back!!

As for SFA, your QB isn't terrible, but he definitely has the TO bug. That is a lot of TO's for a QB's career. Granted, a number can be attributed to WRs, running the wrong routes or having butter fingers, but not that many. Is he a hero QB? Tries to put the ball in tight spots for bigger gains instead of taking the better shorter option? One area of concern for the Cats is our DL...our starters Connor Myers and James Washington are some of the best DTs in the Sky, but their backups aren't proven. One is a former RB/FB, and the others are all new to the team. I'm thinking there is some serious talent there though. Other Than Karl Finai, the RB/FB, Weber is adding two transfers from FBS schools and a JC transfer who had quite the career in Junior College. So who knows!!

As Dan Hawkins would say, "This aint intramurals, this is Division 1 football"

To me, the game is only FUN if you are playing to win. If you are not playing to win, it's no fun for anybody. There really is no 'Part Way' in all of this. You either do or you don't. Last year we didn't and it was quite hard to watch. If you lose a game and then say that there was more that you could have done, I have a problem with that. If you made mistakes, learn from them and correct them.

That is what I was trying to say. :dead:
