How's the team looking?

Any information on how the team is looking? This is going to be a great shooting team and Shantay Legans knows how to coach defense. It’s gonna be great getting a healthy Jesse Hunt and Luka Vulikic back this year. If the EAGS had them last season I think it would have been the EAGS in the tournament instead of Montana.

"Every team wants big guys, and everybody wants the quick little guys -- I just want players who can do multiple things," said Legans.

Does this mean the Eagles are short and slow?

I can’t speak to how the whole team is looking, but I’m guessing Jack Perry looks like he hasn’t showered in a week.

Hey grizturd, I watched UM against D3 Whitworth and was definitely not impressed. It was a competitive game well into the first half. Then it seems the refs realized that Whitworth had a chance to pull an upset and decided to call three fouls on Whitworth's All-American Kyle Roach with 6 minutes left in the first half.

For these exhibition games does Travis DeCuire select the refs?

After watching that game If I were a griz fan I would worry about the depth of your team. It seems quite thin. Your gonna need that depth against athletic teams like the EAGS that will be one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country, and have guys like Jacob Davison that will dunk over the top of your obviously slow front court.

Sorry, Beagle. I just can’t take you seriously. Losers complain about refereeing. Griz beat Whitworth by around 12 last year. They are a top-level D3 that returned all their scoring power this year. We won this year 90 - 58. A close(ish) first half is typical: talent usually separates itself in the second half of any sport, whether it is basketball or football, etc—kinda like when we whupped up on you in the second half of last year’s chipper. We play with our food in the first half, then feast in the second. I’m not worried at all, and I couldn’t be more confident. Either are all the rest of the Griz fans. You sound desperate. Time to take a cold shower to wake up your senses. Invite Jack Perry with you while *you’re* at it.

Grizturd, good grammar catch. Seems the fan base most desperate is the griz fan base as they are really playing up this win over a D3 team which had their All American on the bench. Any D1 team should beat a D3 team by 30. Nothing special with this win. Just the usual over-hyped reaction from the UM fans. I guess in these times any win in UM men's sports is coveted.

Ha! You said the same thing allll last year: Griz are overrated, blah, blah. You have no credibility anymore. Peddle your BS to the red Kool-Aid drinkers who will swallow it. I’ll let the Griz do the talking this year, just like last year. Can’t wait for the Griz to expose you like a clown—again—all season long. Keep shooting those 3s!
