Hornet Defensive Passing Game Coordinator/CBs Coach Cherokee Valeria has been selected to participate in the 2021 Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship. He will take part in training camp with the Los Angeles Chargers 26 JUL-08 AUG. He was previously selected by the Rams last year, but was unable to participate in-person due to COVID. Coach Valeria's impact on the Hornets defense was immediate and huge as we led the Big Sky in defensive passing efficiency and red zone defense in 2019. Interceptions more than doubled, and two secondary players made All-Big Sky.

Congratulations, Coach Valeria! We expect more impact from the Hornet Defense this coming season!
