Was Tanner Gueller’s performance today the greatest in ISU history: 8 TD passes, no interceptions, led team in rushing, 579 total yards? I’m open to arguments. What do you all think?

I’ve seen a lot and it looked effortless for him today. Reads, throws, composure.. I’d cast my vote for him on this day’s work. He will definitely be National POTW!

Tanner had a great game. Was his performance the greatest in ISU history at QB? Definitely in the top 5 based on passing 8 TD's.

IMO, that was not a good defense; take that into account.

Still, hard to argue that this was not a historic performance.

To hear comments about how bad a losing team played, or how bad their defense was, or how bad their effort was, or how bad the coaching was, has always bothered me. The winning team, it seems to me, has a lot to do with all of that. I don't think ISU gets enough credit for what they do on the field this year.

After our first drive that didn’t look good and their first drive which resulted in a TD if I remember correctly, ISU played superbly. (Obviously)
Gueller had the best game I’ve ever seen for an ISU QB. Stats validate that. Major credit to his receivers who made him look that good. Without the receiving corps excelling, there wouldn’t be any records. Same goes for the offensive line and a highly effective running game. A recipe for success.
And, let’s not forget the defense. Vandals offense replied to our TD’s but the defense also came up with some key plays. Great team effort all around.
On the Idaho side, Petrino Sr. probably should have kept Petrino Jr. on the bench. He did not look good at QB and seemed to be one of their liabilities . At least the Richardson kid had size and seemed a bit more effective IMHO. Maybe stats show otherwise.
This was best game I’ve seen for ISU in the Dome. May this continue. Go Bengals!

Been browsing around other sites, like UCD. those guys have zero respect for Tanner G.
I feel like I get why Phen and the team is saying, bring it on vs. the weaker response of you owe us respect.
The thing is we all know how good Tanner is and ISU could be. Its only proven week to week, and Tanner G, proved to be the best in the FCS last week.
Id settle for ISU being better than one team next Saturday, UCD.
I hope ISU bests lasts weeks numbers on offense.
