I Back FRANK SESSION and RAHE

If we are going to have any chance next year to compete, and win another title and advance we are going to need Frank Session. The kid has also been a human highlight reel, and a damn fun player to watch all season. The beating he is taking in other comment boards are unwarranted and complete and total BULL SH!T.

people wont forget him choking on the those two foul shots with that look of sheer terror on his face and that bubble gum hanging out of the side of his mouth. i'm sorry, but that cost weber a trip to the ncaa and fans don't forget that easily.

You can't blame just one individual player when we blow a lead like that. A player started fighting like a heavyweight (Johnson) and we failed to match his focus and desire to win. It's hard to call it destiny but the man was possessed by the basketball devil. I could go down the list of mistakes costing us the game; however, I won't because it would hurt my head naming them all. Win as a team lose as a team!

I agree with both posters. Unfortunately, most fans will hold frank accountable for the loss. I think montyruss is only pointing out what the average fan will remember. But I agree...Win as a team, lose as a team! From my perspective the Cats had a really hard time moving the ball against the press...I hope that problem gets fixed in the off season.

Session should have never even been at the line in that situation. Either he should have never been in the game at that point or he should not have ever held onto the ball when Montana was trying to foul. At the game I was screaming at the top of my lungs to "get rid of the damn ball!" I don't fault him as much for missing the free throws as I blame him for letting himself get fouled in the first place. And as far as him transferring, I had suspicions that all was not right when he only played six minutes versus Cincinnati. That second half versus Montana either destroyed this kid's attitude and confidence, or coach lost all confidence in him. If he transfers then he's a quitter and I say "good riddance."

Session is transferring, kinda looks like when things get tough for this guy he quits and runs away.

Session's facebook account said he bumped heads a lot with Coach Rahe.

His Facebook also says that he was cut by Rahe.

I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm sure that is a definite possibility, but very unlikely. Unless, he acted in a way that was counter-productive to the teams success. In all likelihood, I'm sure its an excuse. Once again he is trying to lay blame on somebody else, rather than taking full responsibility for his actions and decisions. He made the decision to quit, once he said he was done Rahe is the type of coach to say well thats what you want, okay, you are done.

I'm sure he tried to say he was cut after trying to talk to the Wizard about coming back, and Rahe flatly refused. If you don't want to be here...then you wont be here.

Of course...I'm often wrong.

What do you mean "once again"? Or is this just slander?

watching the ncaa here and reading all the posts, one things real clear here, if sessions wants out who cares? Coach knows now that we have to get bigger stronger faster to compete in the ncaa... we need a 6'6'' ATHLETE that rebounds like sessions but shoots like lillard.. we were so close with roll players the last two years, now with lillard , we need to get some shooting help for him... Bamforth will help, now a Juco wing is needed... I still feel like we can recruit 7'0 posts. It's just willing to develope them... Ben Mills is already athletic, he just needs more weight.. but then so did Hamilton coming out of HS... go wildcats..
