I hate this time of year, what do you do?

SO TRUE! :thumb: :lol: :ohno: :nod: :rofl: :clap:
They keep pulling me in and teasing me that they are going to make a run and then slap me back to reality that they are OUR MARINERS! It is hard to believe that it has been since 2001 since we sniffed the play-offs! :evil:
Thank GOD I have been raising my kids since then as a distraction :thumb:

clawman, and all
I attended the Big Sky Track Championship on Saturday. Both Women and Men finished 5 in their respective areas. We were up against some very good Universities, i.e. SAC, NAU,PSU, UM, MSU, SUU, and they all came with some "SMOKERS" fast individuals men and women. We got there at noon, left at about 4:30 p.m. Some of our Athletes were working the meet and checking out the ladies in their beautiful shorts, etc. ;). Was surprised I made it, had been sick since Monday, everything hurts from my teeth, ears ribs. Feeling better today. Have a great Spring. Vic Wallace

clawman, and All,
Read the Review, you could have read about the exodus of Women BB Players leaving for Greener Pastures. Unhappy here, so will try elsewhere. Remember this saying, (maybe as old as I am :) ) "You don't miss the water, until the Well runs Dry" Wish them all the luck. Vic Wallace

Hi Vic;
As well as you and Chrissy get to know those girls I am sure it hurts you more than the rest of us.
I guess locking the girls out of their own locker room was not a good strategy!

clawman, do you(or Vic) have a link to the Review in regards to that article about the ladies BB team?

Obzerver, I don't have the link but an article appeared in the Review on May 14 entitled "Mass Exodus Occurs for Womens Basketball" and a follow up letter to the editor on May 17 "Ex-Eagle stands behind basketball coach"

clawman,
Just like the rest of our Athletic Programs, it is not that it hurts, what bothers me is that no one in the higher Offices, doesn't seemed to care about what is going on. It is always the Student causing Problems, or some student is causing problems. I have washed my hands of the WBB Program, I am at a point now I could care if they have a team or not. That is sad to say, those are my feelings. I used to enjoy going to those games, but once that many Players leave the program something should be done to correct it, not just sit and do nothing. See you around. Vic

To All,
I have heard the same thing about VA. He made his bed, now let him sleep in it. The week after the last Scrimmage, I was in the back outside of the locker rooms, waiting for a young man to give him a ride to his office of employment, when I saw a Ford Taurus with Oregon Plates drove up, dropped of VA and one of his friend, he went into the Phase by the side of the Indoors Track, I was hoping the Football Locker Room was not open. He look like he is now getting a little "CHUBBY". Next month Cooper will be getting married, wish that young man the best of Luck in his marriage. :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: Vic Wallace

Read articles like this saying Adams is the #13 QB to watch for even though he's not even transferred yet!

I think this sentence at the end "Which brings us to this: Adams is no lock to eclipse Jeff Lockie (terrific spring game) as the opening-week starter." Speaks volumes.... :ohno:
I am concerned he may be on the outside looking in. :?

Don't be. He's a grown ass man who made a decision that he will have to live with.

Back to Clawman's question. Simply being outside to enjoy the sounds, smells, and colors of summer is what I like. Especially if I'm on my boat with the music up and a cold beer in hand. As for Vernon, let him go. Appreciate what he did for us, wish him the best, and move on. If Vernon or anyone else doesn't want to be at Eastern, I don't want them at Eastern. The future gave us a break by allowing us to see the next Eagle great one year earlier.

93bird;
I agree that if someone does not WANT to be at Eastern, welcome them to leave. We need to believe more in the system than any one player. The system Beau and Zach Hill have will allow our current players maximize their potential and we will be just fine.
I've been doing a lot more fishing.

It could be exactly that. Lockie may have a lockie on the QB job already. VA may be a "Wildcat" guy in a special package
