We can beat UM there's no doubt about it. We can finish out the season without losing. We must get healthy. Too many key players banged up but we have had an extra week to mend. Sure hope Dorton comes back along with our other stars at close to 100%. Sac State playing really good (made enough money on them yesterday to recoup the losses from EWU games) and I think if they stay healthy they can go far...real far come playoff time. We still have the chance to make some noise and it starts next Sat.!

It's going to take a 180-degree shift for us to beat Montana. We haven't shown much toughness and our execution on both sides of the ball has been spotty at best. When other teams apply pressure, we don't rise up. I suspect we'll have our moments against Montana, but it'll require 60 minutes of good football to get the W. We haven't done that once all season.

I didn't see an especially tough team from Montana last night.

Eastern has a lot more flash and dash than UM, but they are waaaaaaayyyy more physical. Sac State hung in there amongst all the hitting. You saw what happened when we played Jax State; they were physical and just kept hitting us until we stopped fighting back.

I do agree we are not as physical as J state but I think the Eagles were just not as well conditioned as they were and the weather conditions accentuated that point in the 4th qtr. Then we let that beating carry over to the first 1/2 in Moscow for the second loss, so 2 halves of play may define our season.
This game will define our season.

Unfortunately its not gonna start against the Griz, I think are problems are much deeper than what has been exposed. Hope for a close game but won't be surprised by a beatdown of epic proportions ! FTG
