Idaho Football has lowest APR avg. in FBS

The Idaho football team could be facing more APR-related sanctions as they had an APR of 896 for the 2013-14 season. This is the fourth year in a row that they've had an avg. below 930, and there could be another bowl ban for this next year. These guys are going to have to get their act together or else if they don't show improvement within the next few years then the death penalty certainly isn't out of the question. There's just no hope for Idaho.

Idaho actually made a nice recovery during the last reporting period, posting a 948 APR in football. It will take them awhile to bring up that four year average, just like it did ISU, but the NCAA announced in March they were taking Idaho off the post-season banned list.

Same thing happened with ISU basketball. It's finally above 930, but hadn't been. Evans had single years above 930, which saved the program practice time, scholarships.

Idaho's men's golf team is penalized according to the list on that NCAA link, but the only football teams penalized are FCS.

Sounds like it could be a while before Idaho's completely out of the doghouse. And with only an 896 APR avg. don't think that the NCAA will let Idaho off easy this year.

That 896 is a four year average -- they scored 948 in the most recent period and the NCAA has already announced they are bowl eligible this year.

It's sad to see what this once proud 1-AA powerhouse has become, just to keep up with Boise State. Idaho had my respect, BSU never did.
