A good lesson for college athletes, and everybody else, for that matter...

Watson, the team's second-leading scorer, tweeted that it was comments he made on Twitter that led to his benching for his last game at Cowan Spectrum on Saturday against Hawaii.

The Spokesman-Review reported that it approached Verlin last night about an offending tweet (which I won't link due to some profanity), that reads, "Don't gett how we pose to win wit this guy coachin us, just don't want it that bad I guess."

Heard a similar story about a post from a Portland State player about his coach earlier this year on Facebook. You'd think these guys would be smarter than that.
