Idaho State Road Trip

Haven't been there in a while, so can't really provide any specifics. The Barn is definitely an interesting place to watch a game at.

Pocatello is the armpit of Idaho. Really, it is. The best thing about it is you're almost to Wyoming or Utah, your choice. There is a real good mexican restaurant there, though. Heradero or something like that. There's always the Sandpiper, too...

Yeah Pocatello would not be my first choice to go on vacation, but we are trying go to one away conference game a year. We've been to Missoula and Bozeman. Pocatello was the closest one this year. Next year probably Portland state.

Buddy's is a good place to eat. http://buddysitalianrestaurant.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It is an Italian Style Restaurant.

Bobcat here living in south central Idaho. I have a good friend that played wide out for Idaho State back in the early 80's. I go over when the Bobcats play them. In addition to Buddy's is Mama Inez Mexican.
Thanks for beating the fiz.

Add Butter Burrs to the list if you want a "little" meat for breakfast.

The Bobcats haven't played there in a couple years, but I think they replaced their indoor outdoor carpet with Green not orange field turf, sorry.

Pocatello is a great place. Look at it how can you call this the armpit

But if it is the armpit the butt crack would be around Moscow and would fart towards EWU.... Weather will be great in the 60s the dome is a fun loud place for a game. There are lots of great restaurants close by buddies, sumi su, pasta vino and others. ISU has put new turf in the dome and has built a new out door practice facility.

There should be a good tailgate outside with 1000-1500 people all depends on the weather. Good hotels are within 2min off the freeway. Have a good time the game should be fun and I will be there sport your colors and have a great time.

Thanks for the info sapper. We are looking forward to it. We'll be the ones in red. :D Oh yeah. do all the seats have seatbacks?

Yes. The Holt Arena has individual seats with backs. The visitors side is on the South entrance of the dome, you can pay to park or you can park on a side street and walk.
