Idaho State tickets

What's the best and cheapest way to get tickets? I remember going a couple years ago and they charged me 16 dollars a ticket. I was like :wtf: this is Idaho State not the Utah Jazz. Seems like they should be paying people to go to Idaho State games. They play their games in a freaking barn for crying out loud. Anyway, would really want to get some tickets, but not 16 dollars. haha.

ISU really tries to rip off, take advantage of, visiting fans. I think they look at it as bringing in outside dollars. Football tickets were $25 this year, and that was for the cheap seats.

Call Weber's ticket office and see if there is a better deal.

I wonder what we charge ISU fans at the Dee? :coffee:

It shows on the ISU website that the cheapest adult tickets are $11

Binoculars and Hot cocoa is extra...oh yes so is parking.

I treated myself to my first Weber State game up in LOLt this last November and had a lot of fun up there cheering for my Wildcats and watching them win.

However having said that I'm not sure it's something I am going to do again any time soon. Not counting the gas it took me to drive up, and the food at the restaurant I bought I spent $30 on an Idaho State football game. $25 for the ticket and $5 for parking. I can almost watch THREE!!! Weber State football games for that price. I'm sorry but if Weber was charging that much for a game and was consistently bad like Idaho State has been I wouldn't go to games. That product is not worth 30 dollars.

I get it...spending $$$ at ISU is really hard to do. In the past ISU was more interested in filling their seats and had a number of price options. They use to have a deal if you bought more than 15 tickets you'd get them for $5 each. 8 years ago Bev Rudd, the former PPAK Adviser, use to drive up to Poky a couple of weeks before the game and buy 50 tickets at the $5 each price, and then sell them to students. Along with the game ticket, they also got to ride up to Poky on the Grey Goose, or some random shuttle bus, and get a meal for $10-$15. Yes, I went a number of times and each trip was an absolute adventure. Two years in a row the Cats played OT games in the Barn (one an amazing 4OTs) and I still feel that the atmosphere brought by Bev helped the Cats win those games. Oh those were fun times!!

However, Jeff Tingey has to make money. And since he can't get his own fans to spend $$$, his only other option is to rip off away fans. He knows that Weber usually travels well and so this is a perfect time to jack up the price and make some $$$. I don't get the parking lot fees. That is an absolute fan killer. In the late 80s it helped kill Weber's fan support. My step-dad use to complain about the loss of fans in the late 80s when Crompton and Co. decided that would be wise to charge for parking at the Dee. Yeah...that definitely didn't help fill the Dee or generate interest; especially with Farmer screwing over our program. Yet, Tingmeist has to generate some dough.

Hey why don't you do the job that Bev used to do? I hear you may work somewhere close to campus... :-D
Then you could tell all of the current students how awesome it was back in the day.

I remember those trips too. I went up there for a football game and a basketball game with Bev Rudd. They were a lot of fun.

Never mind the floor is being redone there. I think game is going to be suspended. Now there is snow falling on the floor.

Try two tanks of gas and two meals on two trips for one overpriced game. Maybe they'll throw in parking on the second visit? Probably not.
