Although their record doesn't show it, the Bengals are a respectable team this year. Like us, they have had injuries to key players, and just plain bad luck, that have contributed to many of their Ls. They did beat UCD, something we didn't do. We can not look past ISU. On paper we should win, but the game is not played on paper. I expect them to come out with a great deal of energy. They have nothing to lose and beating us would make their year. ISU lost to MSU but had more total yardage, more first downs and dominated time of possession. They did everything to win but win. That game was at MSU and MSU is undefeated against FCS teams so far this year.

If we can survive the initial energy, we should win. If we get behind and give them confidence, who knows.

Totally agree with you. Idaho State is going to be a good game. I think their QB is gutty and good. I think they move the ball well, and they are much better than a typical 1-6 team.

I think if the Wildcats play as well as they did last week, they will win. They still haven’t taken care of the ball with fumbles, but created more turnovers than they had last week.

I think the O and D get a boost of confidence and the Wildcats win 35-17.

ISU is a total enigma. When the Ags played them we came out flat and they took care of the ball and played their best game of the year. After that they laid a few eggs. They played Suc real close. I think your defense will get the game ball in that match.

I suspect that you are right. If our D stops their run game, I feel that is what it will take. If our O can do their average, it should be enough. I'll be disapointed if our D can't create at least 4 or 5 TOs and our STs play should be a plus. However, ISU gets sky high to play us. We'll need to absorb their initial energy. We can't allow what happened to UCD.

A nice Halloween treat. Shaheed sets an FCS record for kickoff return TDs, defense does great, and special teams gets two TDs (punt block for TD in addition to kickoff return). Barron had a miscommunication on the pick 6, and D got caught in a mismatch on blitz. Those were the only miscues. Cooper helped spur on the run game on offense.

We stopped their running game and held them to about 200 yards of total O. Rasheed had more total yards than the whole ISU team.

We did what we had to do, but still had a couple of mental errors that allowed ISU to score 14 points.

We won the game we shoulda won. Now, let's move on and get better for the next up.

Big reason Wildcats are currently 4-4 vs 6-2. Definitely need better ball security and better decisions from the QB.

Hopefully the Wildcats can get that cleaned up for last three games.
