Idaho Vandals

This is a big one guys. We can clinch a playoff spot on Thursday night with a win over Idaho and a Southern Utah loss to Sac State. I think we got this!

Better yet is that Weber could jump the Vandals and be in 7th place (ugh!! I can't believe I'm happy about that). Hell, PSU could possibly lose 2 games this weekend. If that happens the Cats can jump them too.

Any word on Jeremy Senglins jaw? Is there any chance that he wears purple again this season?

From what I understand, the earliest he could participate is next week. It would be nice to see him this week, but I'm thinking that isn't going to be happening.

Game day! Plus tonight, for your entertainment, The Battle Of The Flashcards !!!!!!
That is, unless Idaho's bad boy head coach has banned them, along with the assistant coach!

And Bolomboy was a beast tonight...overall good effort by the Wildcats, they deserved to win this one just on defense alone. :thumb:

Bolomboy is a 4.

Golden is not a 1.

Eastern is a lot like UI, except that they have a 4 who can drive and handle the ball. Who do we have guard him, Joel or Kyndahl? Choose your poison.

My feeling is that we will do well against eastern. I'm hoping for a good crowd, better than tonight's.

I don't know Olds! The quality of basketball seems down in the league! I'm not sure if the bad teams have gotten better or if some historically good teams have gotten worse.

The BSC is a less than average conference.... Not going to shine a light on a conference that has to "play in " to the tourney!

Solid win last night by the Cats. Rahe pulled a Stew on Verlin last night. He made the right adjustments at the right times and got the edge on his friend. By the time Verlin "righted" the ship, it was too late for the Vandals. Just nice seeing Idaho back at the Dee. It just felt right that there were playing here. Loved watching Joel. When he is on, he is so hard to stop. Funny thing though...he couldn't hit the close shots, but was hitting everything from outside. My only issue with the game, why pull Hajek? James was playing great last night. He evidently improves the defense in the middle and has really become a strong rebounder, on offense he was 4/5 from the field and made some pretty solid passes to open men. On Saturday, Hajek should not only start, but he should end up playing 25-30 min. We all know that Eastern has a tall lineup. To counter what the Eagles have, play Hajek as much as possible. Limit the Eagles options in the middle. James brings toughness and defensive intensity. Also, he has a lot more to play for. This could be it for him and his career. He is going to play extremely hard.

:+1: Hajak should start and play as many minutes as he wants on Saturday. He's the only thing close to a true center we have, he's the only senior, and he's busted his ass for the program for five years.

I agree. James has been great for this program lets let him run wild tomorrow night and shut down Jois.
