Dare I say that the more talented team lost last night?
Dean (really, really good) and Hill (that guy can shoot) carried Idaho to a win, but I honestly think that we should have won the game. Probably going away at that.
I think that the miss by Moore where he all but finished the shot , and the following Idaho dunk, sort of finished it. Sure we had a chance after the Wiggins three and the stop, but for some reason I just didn't think that we'd pull it out. Too many lost opportunities to put the game away.
Cataldo. Why did he not see more than 20 minutes last night? He had quality time when he was in, and was a doing well down low. 4/5 from the field and 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. Give him another 5 minutes and he's probably boasting a double double. The guards seem really, really reluctant to enter the ball to him on the block. Especially if Moore is in. I noticed it last year as well. Not sure why it occurs. Perhaps it conflicts with Geving's guard centric lineups. I think it cost us the game tonight, but perhaps it's just me.
The officials were some of the worst that I've ever seen in my life, and this is coming from a guy that thinks that we got the majority of the calls. What in the hell was that flagrant 1 foul that was called against Idaho?
