• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Simply click your profile name > account upgrades > BigSky Club > choose between the year long subscription (two free months) or month to month

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

What does everyone think? Are they coming back? We need to keep the off-season discussions going on this forum.

Good for all parties involved. Idaho gains regional rivalries in EWU, Idaho State, Montana and to some extent Weber and Montana State. This will benefit EWU quite a bit since we'll have another Montana type rival to play against and will further help EWU's profile in the region by having someone like that to play against every year.

This also could help long term prospects too... This puts Idaho, Montana, Montana State, and EWU (if we can continue the great fan support from the last few years) in a solid position to consider a IA jump in the distant future. That scenario wouldn't put Idaho (or the other teams involved) in the position they were in when only Boise State made the jump.

They're gonna come back kicking and screaming, but they will come back. They won't survive as Independent, and they're not going to drop football.

Eventually someone in an authority position will come to the obvious conclusion that "we tried moving to FBS and it didn't work". The biggest mistake would be to try to force the issue and after a few more years of losing games and revenue, as a weak independent, come back to the BSC, if the offer is still there.
I am still banned from their site so do not know how bad fans are screaming, or are they?

Maybe if you weren't such a troll you wouldn't get banned from forums. ;)

It's entertaining, but nearly as bad as it would be if it were happening to the Griz.

Those guys are pretty thin skinned. As you know all I said was they need to worry more about getting up to FCS levels than BSC levels, which will be determined on Aug 30. Don't know how they expect to make it as an independent if they can't take a little critique.

Yep.
