I liked Grabau's game alot in Ogden. 1st team All-Conference candidate.

I agree. It would be one thing if we lost to Montana because they are a good team and we are fairly matched, but losing to Idaho state? That's just gotta piss you off if your a player. To the point where you come out swinging and don't stop. They have somethin to prove now and that's they can win and that this loss won't affect them. Plus to add to it we had to battle back against Portland state so I would think they would want to come out and knock them out. I want a 30 point beating Thursday.hawkssb04 said:It really was the perfect storm. ISU's confidence is way up after that 2OT win on Thursday, WSU had to adjust to an injury AGAIN after losing Mook for the year and the officiating was about what you would expect on the road. Dame has been getting hacked a ton during the past four games and isn't getting the calls he should. Seems like the pressure is starting to build a little bit and he's pressing.
To be honest, after driving my ass up to Pocatello to watch that game, I was looking for someone to blame for this loss. My heart was in my throat watching the ISU fans storm the court. But frankly, the team wasn't prepared for this one. They looked lethargic all game until the final five minutes or so and once again didn't know how to respond to the full-court press the Bengals were moving in and out of. Yeah, the Wildcats' were off tonight and missed a ton of free throws (here's looking at you, Bull), but if there are any fingers to be pointed, point them at Coach Rahe.
Hopefully the pressure is off a bit and this is a good wake-up call for WSU. The last time they lost, the Wildcats reeled off 10 straight wins. I feel bad for Portland State on Thursday. I think they are going to run into a buzzsaw ... a real pissed off one. :x

Also, what is up with the PPAK? Where the F were the students? This is the first time in the Rahe era that there wasn't a solid student contingent in Poky. A bus for the WCC is great, but what is truly important is getting a loud, rucous student section to support our team. Two years ago is a great example of helping our team pull out a much needed win. When the crowd got loud, shockingly, our team got back into the game. Weird...they didn't have a lot of energy to begin with. All they needed was some vocal support from our crowd to bolster them and help them get over the top. Also, I'm getting sick of the cliques at WEBER. IF YOU ARE AT THE Game come help. Don't stand there looking stupid and thinking you are "Too Cool" to participate. Real fans step up and help.
Oh BigSkyChamps...YOU ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO EX-Athletes. I played to...we weren't very good but we gave it our all. These aren't pros and they aren't going to be perfect ever. They are good, but shit happens. I'm pretty sure you had a lot of games where you didn't have "IT" and weren't able to go at 100% for 60min on the field. Give these guys a break. Get over yourself and stick with the Cats.
