If Weber can't beat one of the worst teams in the Nation

just shows us its all about those 2 games in 2 days. nothing else matters, no busters, rpi, no polls, nada. we just need to be ready for march.

this loss really sux!!!!!!

timing of it also was bad since the monday announcement.

I don't think the season is over because we lost this game. The team was totally off tonight and the officiating sucked--double disaster--coupled with a team with renewed confidence and a hunger to knock off the top team, conclusion, a loss. We'll be back and ready for the next game. Tonight is tough to swallow, however.

Congrats to ISU. They've had a rough year.

I liked Grabau's game alot in Ogden. 1st team All-Conference candidate.

maybe all these injuries this year were just too much for our team to expect them to go 16-0 which has been done twice in 49 yrs of big sky bball.

grabau will be POTW, an isu player!!!!!!! never thought i'd see that in 2012. he had 30 on thurs n 10 & 8 in a win over WSU.

are they really this much better without OB?

There is only one comment that matters here: "it doesn't matter how hard you fall. What does matter is how you get back up."

GOOOO WILDCATS!!!

I am born2bleedpurpleguy and I approve of this message.

I'm out, I'm sick of getting upset about this stuff. I can't stand getting disappointed year after year. I'm going to spend more time with the family and forget about the Weber State Choke Artists. :ban:

Yeah, and Damian is still hobbled on that ankle. I saw that at the Sac St game. Bull is not 100% and it really shows in his shooting. Yet, I think I would rather lose a game now as opposed to losing in the tournament. It's not good timing for our bracketbuster, but this team is resilient, they won't fall apart because of this. :thumb: :thumb:

It really was the perfect storm. ISU's confidence is way up after that 2OT win on Thursday, WSU had to adjust to an injury AGAIN after losing Mook for the year and the officiating was about what you would expect on the road. Dame has been getting hacked a ton during the past four games and isn't getting the calls he should. Seems like the pressure is starting to build a little bit and he's pressing.

To be honest, after driving my ass up to Pocatello to watch that game, I was looking for someone to blame for this loss. My heart was in my throat watching the ISU fans storm the court. But frankly, the team wasn't prepared for this one. They looked lethargic all game until the final five minutes or so and once again didn't know how to respond to the full-court press the Bengals were moving in and out of. Yeah, the Wildcats' were off tonight and missed a ton of free throws (here's looking at you, Bull), but if there are any fingers to be pointed, point them at Coach Rahe.

Hopefully the pressure is off a bit and this is a good wake-up call for WSU. The last time they lost, the Wildcats reeled off 10 straight wins. I feel bad for Portland State on Thursday. I think they are going to run into a buzzsaw ... a real pissed off one. :x

I agree. It would be one thing if we lost to Montana because they are a good team and we are fairly matched, but losing to Idaho state? That's just gotta piss you off if your a player. To the point where you come out swinging and don't stop. They have somethin to prove now and that's they can win and that this loss won't affect them. Plus to add to it we had to battle back against Portland state so I would think they would want to come out and knock them out. I want a 30 point beating Thursday.

Always tough to travel all the way to Sac St for a Thursday game and then play somewhere else on Sat. I was real worried about last night's game.
let's hope for a Montana loss today.

These things happen. I was pretty upset with the Wildcat faithful last night. Our team need more support but they weren't getting it. Why go to a game to sit there on your hands? Our team needed more energy from our crowd and they weren't getting it.

Also, what is up with the PPAK? Where the F were the students? This is the first time in the Rahe era that there wasn't a solid student contingent in Poky. A bus for the WCC is great, but what is truly important is getting a loud, rucous student section to support our team. Two years ago is a great example of helping our team pull out a much needed win. When the crowd got loud, shockingly, our team got back into the game. Weird...they didn't have a lot of energy to begin with. All they needed was some vocal support from our crowd to bolster them and help them get over the top. Also, I'm getting sick of the cliques at WEBER. IF YOU ARE AT THE Game come help. Don't stand there looking stupid and thinking you are "Too Cool" to participate. Real fans step up and help.

Oh BigSkyChamps...YOU ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO EX-Athletes. I played to...we weren't very good but we gave it our all. These aren't pros and they aren't going to be perfect ever. They are good, but shit happens. I'm pretty sure you had a lot of games where you didn't have "IT" and weren't able to go at 100% for 60min on the field. Give these guys a break. Get over yourself and stick with the Cats.

Agreed with all of this.

Also, ISU was one of the worst teams in the country earlier this year... with the confidence they have right now and the way Grabau (not mention Morgan/McGowen is playing), they are definitely not one of the worst at the moment. They are going out and making plays, and Martin has them really playing well.

i love how some fans jumped off the band wagon cause we lose one game. typical weber faithful. also tal the ppak did have a bus but they charged $28 to go to the game and the students that did show up were just there to watch a game. i thought it was stupid that we werent louder than their fans like we normally were. i was out of town and couldnt make it. but i would not have wanted to spend $28 dollars to goto that game

Poor Excuses. I know where the issues are, they aren't occurring because of you; however, YOU NEED TO WORK AROUND THEM and DO YOUR JOB. This is called leadership. I'm well aware of the problem you are having. Former advisors made things happen and did what was necessary to keep prices down. That isn't the case now. If you don't like how things are set up, create another option.

im looking at all my options right now to get things going for this weekend and make the section rocking. i cant change students opinions and what they will and wont do. but i will will do my best job possible
