...I'd appreciate prayer for my high school track and cross country coach, Don Womble. He's 80 years old and according to an article in today's paper, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Even that won't make him quit, though. He's coached just about every sport imaginable at Lodi High since 1969 and taught PE as well. I'll never forget his PE invention, a modified form of water polo safer for PE classes. Coach Womble is one of the kindest, most caring people I've ever met, and is a credit not only to our school but to coaching. Eighty years old with leukemia and still coaching cross country and the track throws. What a guy....
