I can’t take this anymore. Losing to Sac State like that extinguished the last little piece of hope I had for this team. I’m so discouraged right now. How did this happen? There was so much optimism going into the season, it’s what helped me get through football. You may see me at a couple more games but my Bengal spirit is broken. I’ll more likely to end up listening to the remainder of the games on the radio. It’s just too hard to pick myself off the mat when each game leaves more discouraged than before. Don’t get me wrong; I really hope we can turn things around. In the meantime I will be looking forward to spring football and watching this recruiting class develop.

Wow! I’m glad I moved on earlier this week because I would’ve lost it tonight! The Bengals needed a sweep and instead they ended up getting swept. Oh well, there’s always football. Honestly though, I think the team will be better next year when Gilchrest is finally allowed to be the leader (assuming he stays). Senior night should be fun.
