Impact of scholarships - FBS vs FCS

Very proud of how the Eags have played against UW last year and WSU this year. Just wondering if it's just me, but in each of these games did special team play really favor our opponents? No criticism of our kids, but I wonder if some use of the additional scholarship positions is to have players that specialize in special team play, where we use our regular starters on special teams. Thought maybe the experts here could elaborate.

I don't think special teams is any more affected by the difference in schollies than offense or defense. Hell, Idaho had 22 add'l schollies and our special teams made a big difference against them.
