Indoor practice facility

Does anybody know what is going on with the field just north of the Dee Center? This is the area where they were talking about building the indoor practice facility. I noticed that the Hammer Throw practice frame and netting has been removed as well as a bunch of the trees that were in the field. There are currently a couple of pieces of heavy equipment over there as well as stakes with flags on them. It looks like pre-construction work for something.

The construction that you have seen is for the new softball stadium.
 
From what I've heard the Practice facility is still on the table. Weber needs funding though...Anybody willing to give a few bucks to help out? How about you CATCAT?
 
The original plans had the facility in an empty lot south of University Village dorms. It would be behind the Arby's on Harrison.
