Injury status

Griz til I die

Hello eags, longtime no see. Very excited for the game this Saturday at Wa-Griz. Excited to see how many of you show up to Missoula on Saturday. I just had one question ahead of the game on Saturday, injury status. I know for a second straight year, you guys have been very unlucky with injuries, and I was wondering how many players you are expecting back and who they may be.

We of course have our fair share of injuries as well, but for the most part, we’re pretty clean. We lost a couple of guys on special teams for the season, but we were without one of our better receivers and a starting oline men on Saturday, but both are expected to be back on Saturday. Of course our big question now is Sneed, who looked like he sprained his ankle on Saturday. We don’t know if he’ll be good to go or not on Saturday but I’m hopeful that he may.

Looking forward to the game this year after a 1 year hiatus. If you guys have any questions about the Griz, let me know. I’d be happy to answer them for you. Go Griz!

I know you kicking game is good with Purdy and Wilson...correct me if I'm wrong. Please state Montana's weaknesses on offense and defense..don't worry about exposing anything as apparently our coaches don't read our board. If they did we wouldn't be playing with our back to the wall. Thx in advance.

Yes Purdy and Wilson are doing an excellent job, and are Malik Flowers on kick returns and Jerry Louie-McGee on punt returns. They each have a return touchdown this year, so I recommend not kicking to them this year.

As far on weaknesses on offense it would be our oline. While they are leaps and bounds better than last year, they struggled mightily against Sac States dline on Saturday. Granted that’s probably the best dline in the conference but they still got exposed and Sneed paid the price because of it.

Defensively, it’d be our secondary. We’re second to last in the conference in pass defense. They’ve actually done a pretty good job this year with some of the QB’s we’ve faced this year, but our secondary had their worse game of the season against Sac State. Hope this helps.

Catastrophic injury crises are par for the course at Eastern. In theory, we should be in good shape. But in reality, I’m sure we’ll have several guys missing.

The problem with UM’s weakness at OL is we don’t have a DL that can exploit it. Idaho’s substandard OL laid as ass-whipping on us.
