Foolerton announced late last week that instant replay was going to be used for both football and basketball for the 2015-16 season. Finally!

Yes. Anytime a school that the states first letter is an M wants a review, they can review a play at anytime. All other state first letters go pound sand. Any questions?

Ogden, Utah (July 18, 2015) - Replay for football & basketball officials will be available for every game held in a Big Sky Conference venues, league Commissioner Doug Fullerton announced Saturday.

The Big Sky Conference has signed an agreement with DVSport, the industry leader in officials' replay to provide equipment at all 13 league football stadiums, and 12 basketball arenas.

DVSport has been delivering HD replay to college football for the past five seasons, following up a very successful 5 year run with an SD replay product. DVSport HD Instant Replay works with Conference member institutions, their broadcast partners and in-house productions to bring officiating instant replay to college football each week.

Last season, DVSport provided instant replay solutions for over 800 regular season games, all NCAA (FCS, Div. II and III) playoff and Championship games as well as 34 bowl games including the National Semi-Final and Championship games.

Starting in 2009, DVSport also implemented its HD Replay™ technology for regular-season Canadian Football League games all the way through the Grey Cup championship game. Currently, the American, ACC, Big South, Big Ten, Big-12, C-USA, MAC, Mountain West, Pac-12, the SEC, and now the Southland, use DVSport exclusively for their HD replay needs.

Thank God this conference finally does something to get with the times. The officiating will most likely still suck, but at least the obvious blown calls can be overturned. No more obvious TD catches ruled as incompletions.

Maybe. Referees/replay officials (depending on the system utilized) have been known to blow replay calls. Perhaps the most egregious is the Dez Bryant play....
