Interceptions

Did you think we would have had more interceptions at this point in the season? We have 5 for 11 yards in 5 games.

yes, but we also only have 6 sacks. Not enough pressure on opposing quarterbacks. I think they go go hand-in hand. I really believe it will improve.

I think this is a mark of how strong we are in the secondary and how our defensive line is still developing. I'm willing to bet our interception numbers would be twice this if we won in the trenches.

Not really. Played three teams with mobile QB's. Easy to get caught looking into the backfield with mobile QB's and miss an oppty for an interception.

I am guessing we'll get a couple tomorrow. either McDonald or wadood.

Liked what we did late against UC Davis with our former HS safeties Gall and Zamora dropping deep enough to keep an eye on the QB. With pressure on Arias, we could see anyone in defensive backfield get a pick today :-) He does have a quick release, but we take the run away today and cover their single WR threat like a blanket.

Excited to get this one underway!
