I've watched the four top CAA teams all play this year, and I truly believed the top team in that conference was Villanova from day #1. They seemed head-and-shoulders better than New Hampshire (no offensive speed), Delaware (over lack of team speed), and William and Mary (not enough playmakers). Villanova seems to have a complete team and the experience of winning once before.
How did they wind up finishing the season 7-4 and barely squeeking into the playoffs? Of the two CAA teams left, Villanova seems the far better team despite the weaker record which includes a heads-up win over Delaware. Was there a time that the team just wasn't playing well to cause all those losses?

), but more seriously, I think we have a better shot at this than people on the net, nova fans would like to believe. No doubt they're on a roll right now, but other than the major turnovers in the last game, we've been playing some pretty good ball too, with or without TJ.
