Eastern is now the ONLY D-1 university in the Northwest with an Adidas sponsorship. All other universities are with the Evil Empire (UW, WSU, Oregon, Oregon State, Portland State, Boise State, Idaho, and Montana) except Montana State. FWIW, I can't find any information on who carries the Montana State contract.

I love that we buck the trend and stay the hell away from Nike.

Montana State is sponsored by Under Armour.

I've been happy with what Adidas has rolled out for us the past couple years minus the lame wings on the shoulder pads of the red and road white jerseys.

I work for Nike Corporate in Beaverton, the EAF even gets a 100% matched donation from Nike when I donate. What's your beef?

It's up to you EdubAlum!

Let's get whatever has been raised/committed to this point and give it to EdubAlum in small unmarked bills. Have him donate to Nike to get the matching funds and then get the biggest bang for the buck on getting something done. If this occurs I'll get a tattoo of the NIKE swoosh on my....forehead!

The only thing I don't like about the Adidas kit is how tight fitting it seems. Other than that, they've come up with some really good stuff for us over the past few years. The military appreciation uniforms were badass, even if a rendition of it had been done by some other school before. I still thought it was kind of unique.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Nike, either. They have some great uniforms. I think it just boils down to whoever is willing to give us the better deal, but it seems like we've been an Adidas school forever. I can't ever remember any of our teams ever wearing Nike stuff.

I could be wrong, but I think my freshman season ('05) we were in Russell or some tertiary brand like that.

I think Eastern was with Pony for a while in the 90s. I don't even know if they are still around. If Puma ever gets into football, that'd be a cool one. In terms of style, I think Puma is better than any of the more mainstream brands. Puma, as a European company, seldom deviates from the sports of Europe.

That little one should be about 5 years old now. Remember meeting you about that time in the EAA Area, along with your pregnant Spouse, and some friends. One of my very best friend daughter worked there with Nike many years ago, my Friend have since passed on to a better place, and she is now living somewhere in the Seattle Area, name Rachelle Johnson. She worked for Nike for quite some time. Hope things are going well with you and the family. Take care! Vic Wallace

thanks Vic! yup. The big one is almost 5 and the little one is 2.5. We'll probably make it up for a game at some point this year. i have a reserved parking space...might be nice to actually use it.

I've been pretty happy with what Adidas has rolled out for us the last 3-4 years for all sports. I thought our all black basketball uniforms were some of the best I have seen.

I'm curious if we will get new white uniforms as they still have the old drop shadow block font for numbering as the red and new blacks have the new font that is sometimes hard to read.

I agree. for being adidas, they're pretty top notch. The black basketball uniforms were awesome, if we could just get rid of the three stripes they'd be awesome.
