• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Krysko said that he doesn't want to play us until they are strong enough to compete.

Also the article makes it seem like we were only interested in doing a home and home (or at least USU)... But I thought Rahe came out and said that if they want to only play at their place he would be willing to work out that agreement... Does anyone have any info on this? Or was that never really the Utes intentions?

Either make it a true home and home series OR make Utah pay us big bucks.
Each year, we have 1 or 2 money games so the Utah game could be one of those money games.
If either of these conditions are not met, then forget them.

HILARIOUS!! Oh how the mighty have fallen. Nice excuse for ending a 100 year series and a almost 40 year old series with instate rivals. What are you saying to your players? "Oh, yeah, my team is terrible, my players are crap, they have no chance of winning at little Weber State." Class act Krysto!!

There have been plenty of times in the past 40 years that Weber has had no chance of winning at Utah, but the Cats went anyway. It's called honor, dignity, and a respect for tradition. Also, and perhaps, most importantly, the Cats didn't back down, because, even though we might not have had the talent to win, we went with the hope to win and to improve. Playing good teams is the best way to measure your own teams ability.

I have to say that if I were one of his players, I would be PISSED!!! If I am good enough to be recruited by a PAC-12 school, I would want to have better competition. At least they will have 10 wins this season. Well, maybe not, Sac could beat them, and ISU could give them a run for their money.

I wonder if Loveridge is regretting his decision to go to the U instead of here?

why would he regret going to miami over weber? i dont get it. besides, he plays for utah, numb butts.

i heard rahe say more than once weber would travel to play the utes in salt lake even if utes wont come to weber. though i was hoping he want not serious. i would rather end the rivalry than salt lake only.

i believe this was discusses on other threads but ill rehash....

reasons to go to salt lake only:
1. play a school in a power conf
2. possible money game
3. can't beat a D1 road game that is a 30 min drive

since 1976 we have played utes every yr except 1993. 3 times we have played them twice in a year. now its over. thanks utes.

series history:

we wont ever have to worry about jeopardizing our winning record at home vs utes if they never come back.
