or at least LOI signing day? Only 17 days until then. On that subject, how long is an offer good for? Are there more offers out there than scollies avail.? Is it first come first served or something else?
Does it really matter?
How big is the universe?
Maybe pigs can fly... somewhere

Offers last as long as a school is willing to wait on a recruit. Inevitably there will be more offers than available scholarships because no school signs every player they recruit. A player who has given a verbal is free to change his mind until signing day. Looks like we have some really nice pickups so far and we are battling with Montana and Idaho for a few more.

Coaches will offer players that they know could be a long shot but recruiting them doesn't hurt. Sometimes that can play to your favor if a player goes somewhere else and it doesn't work out for whatever reason. Sometimes if/when a player is looking to transfer they will remember who recruited them the hardest.

j/k I will check.

Stay tuned for Eastern Washington University’s 32nd annual Orland Killin Dinner, Dance & Auction. Online ordering of tickets are available for the event which takes place Saturday, April 27th, 2013 at the EWU Sports & Recreation Center/Reese Court in Cheney, Wash.

Prior to the dinner, the EWU football team will play its Red-White Spring Football Game at 2 p.m. at Roos Field. The women's volleyball team will host a scrimmage at 11 a.m. The soccer team will also host its annual Alumni Game at noon at the EWU Sports and Recreation Center. The 26th Annual Coaches Golf Tournament will take place the day before on April 26 at Fairways Golf Course.

Net proceeds benefit areas of greatest need within Eastern Athletics. The event is named in honor of Orland Killin, who along with his wife Bernice helped create the event. Orland was a man immensely dedicated to academics and the integrity of Eastern Washington University, serving as professor, faculty athletic representative and faculty president. He was an Eastern football letter winner in 1941-42.
