I say Montana will come into Ogden with a 25 game regualar season winning streak, and cawl back to Missoula with their tails between their legs and a 1 game loosing streak. :D
Last year Montana was lucky to beat us up there, and that was Cameron Higgins first ever start for the wildcats.
Plus the thing that really hurt WSU in that game last year was the cheap shot to Derek Johnson that took him out. So you know the Wildcats will have a little something extra on their hits in this game.

If the Cats can come out of the Utah game with no serious injuries and a positive experience I think we have a good shot to beat Montana. Let's fill the stands at Stewart Stadium on Oct 4 and cheer the Cats to victory!

We lost to UM in 2007 18-10,
2006 we lost 33-30,
2005 we lost 24-19,
2004 we got schooled 42-21,
2003 12-7, 2002 got killed 39-7,
2001 the yr UM won the national championship they beat us 38-23

Last 3 yrs very close, but we've lost 11 str8 overall. This yr looks to be our best team out of all those yrs, 2003 was a good yr though we finished 8-4. But 4-4 in the 'sky. I think our last 5 conf win season was the early 90s.

Hey Native, are you going to make the trip to O town for the Montana game? It would be nice to meet you finally.

I think Weber has this one. For the past few years the games have been extremely close, and each year Weber finds itself in a position to win the game, and ends up losing (usually because of a combination of interesting/screwy calls from the pride of the Big Sky, and poor late game execution)... I'm sure that most of Montana will be traveling with the team, so Weber's got to bring a large and boisterous crowd. Its our home!!! Lets fill the stands... At 11:30 Baker will be tailgating; dew, brauts, and purple hair.
I'm really excited about this game... Next Week is really going to be slow. I hope some Sheep lovers from Montana join the forum.

Hey Native,

Ill show up 11:30 at baker's tailgate...I'll wear a yellow Montana State shirt so you can find me easily!! lol

Well, Native I will be sitting in the West Stands on the 50 yrd line about 25 rows up. Stop in and say hello. This goes for all of you on the board. BTW if there are any of you who have not joined the Wildcat Club - open your wallet for 50 bones and get signed up. You get discounts at the Bookstore and various area merchants with your Wildcat Club card. Don't wait!! The student athletes can use your help. This is a great way to help the athletic teams here at Weber be the best they can be!!! Go Wildcats!

Yall are kinda forgeting the fact that the griz are great on the road. We went TO CAL POLY and BEAT CAL POL a top 10 team. So yea, not saying we will kill you but dont be quite so confident. ANd sorry but your crowd is kinda small and not so loud. The Griz have a fire lit under them after last week. We are out to prove we are for real. Should be a good game!!!! cant be there but i will be watching!!!

Peace

For those here who don't already know this, we have no idea about how good (or bad) this team is, and we figure that these two road games will tell. Every team's game with the Griz seems to be that season's big chance at glory. Imagine how it is to have that bulls eye on your team, game after game after game. You've got us in knots! But then, pretty much every team has... for years.

You guys are AWESOME!! Dew, brats, and purple hair...damn boys we found the party!!!

No one knows how good their programs are yet. The season is still pretty young. The win at Sac State was a good win for the 'cats but tomorrow is the real deal. No doubt that the griz have been the cream of the crop year in and year out in football. But you are a young team that has pulled out some close wins over the last few years against average WSU teams. This year we are legit, and Saturday should prove it. Next year we aim to be the team with the bulls eye on our back, but it all starts with tomorrow's game.

Final score montana 35 weber 24. Its not that we are always winning cause we are OK. We Win cause we are GOOD!!! really good year in and year out we get great Recruits. you have to build up to be a powerhouse and nobody shows up over night. We have been a powerhouse cause we are in the playoffs15 straight seasons and such. You dont become the bulls eye until you can dodge the arrow. Something which you guys have not done yet. Anyway looking forward to a good game tomorrow. It should be a high scoring contest, prob higher than my pick even.

so basically ur saying it will be an embarrassment for the griz when the game ends?

pack the weber fans in all you want!!!! still gonna be underdogs as far as crowd is concerned....the Griz travel strong and loud and we have the advantage of loosening up with alot of drinks and don't have to look over our shoulder to see if anyone from your ward is watching you tip one back.....

Yeah, but it's only been during the Hauck regime that it's taken us so long to know. And lately, we still don't have any idea by the end of the season!

Sorry we missed you. We were sitting a couple of rows behind the Snoys. Don't give up on us yet!
