IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK??

We really need to get any edge we can tonight...is it too much to ask to start the game out with JOKER AND THE THIEF?
(just a thought from a humble servant)

QUESTION: Does Joe ever read this forum? I feel like i'm wasting my breath.

Block your number (if you want) and call his CELL phone @ 801-791-7547 today, leave him a message. Tell him there is a revolt on the fans board and dozens of people are going to email and call Jerry Bovee the A.D. and complain Monday morning if it's not played tonight. I"M SURE HE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU TODAY! :D I miss hearing Joker at the games.

He is on facebook to so send him a message too. But if he doesn't listen we will have to deal with Crowd Chant. Last night the crowd finally reacted to that song.

This may seem like a strange way of looking at this situation, but after reading all the negative comments about Joe's refusal to play "Joker", I have to ask, isn't Joe the one who decided to play it in the first place? ;)

Well I did email him and he said that he won't play it at the beginning of the game. He did say that if late in the game he might play it again.

"Might play it?"....MIGHT???? Yeah...you're right. It sounds like a huge commitment on his part to actually inspire the crowd into giving the team an unsurmountable home court advantage in the winning of ...ooooohhh let's see....JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME SO FAR THIS YEAR!!!!

Well give him credit, he did play it and at the right time. But there is no reason the song should't be played at every game seeing how it is a crowd favorite. Did you see the reaction it got at the UNC game?

Is this the song they played during the time out and coming out of the time out with just a couple of minutes left? If so, I agree, they should play that song more... The crowd loved it and the stadium got loud from that point on.

That's the one

There were a lot of chances for Joe to get, or keep, the crowd excited, and he missed those opportunities a lot throughout the night. What was with the dead air at key stretches in the second half? I'd take anything...even jumping joes song, but the dancers coming out with a lame song doesn't help the crowd or keep them into the game.

THE TEAM FEEDS OFF OF THE CROWD... D'uh?

While we are on the subject of sucky music and dead air, can somebody please take the band out back behind the woodshed and go "old yeller" on that thing? I mean this band has reached all new levels of sucky-ness.
Lets go ahead and pull the plug on their life support and let them fade peacefully away. Would anybody really even notice once they are gone? Take whatever money they do get and go ahead and give it to Randy Rahe to start his bonus.

Wow, I signed up for this forum to ask what song is played at the Dee Events Center near the end of tight games during or after a time out that is strictly a guitar (I've never heard the voice that comes afterward--and now that I've heard it again, I guess there is more than a guitar). Before posting I did a search for "song" and found this. Thanks!

Here is another song that I really like that I heard right before tip-off before Weber State went on to beat Eastern Washington in the 2003 Big Sky Championship game in the Dee Events Center: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-BN29f2SXA

This song was played right as the second half was starting in that same game:
