Is track removal out of the question??

Based on what I've seen from the gateway project & the RED turf being installed... Im guessing its too late to simply remove the track & bring the new eastside stands closer. Any ideas?

I recall one of the articles saying a track removal was in the plans.

I think the plan was to move the east side grand stand closer to the field. The track would be moved but unless they moved the entire field, the space the track now occupies between the west side grand stand and the field would remain.

That is what will happen but not until the Gateway project is underway.

It doesn't make sense to move the track if you aren't also going to move the field closer to the west side stands so there's no space, or dig down and lower the field and add more seating.
