ISU Bengals

It's a short roadie up to ISU his week.

I think we can expect them to be up for this game. They always seem to be. Over their last few games, they have been playing some good D. Their D has kept them in games for about 30 minutes or so. Other teams are wearing them out or figuring out their D. At any rate, they have lost a lot of games late into it. They have a couple of big men who are just bruisers. They are not real athletic, but they are strong and aggressive. Their outside shooting has been up and down. However, they usually try to pound it inside on you or drive from the wings. They will also try to back door you if you over play their wings.

We haven't been getting good production from our 5 spot, so I think we could see some wrinkles there for us. On D, I think we might see a real effort to stop the dribble drive and keep their big men off the glass. They do have a couple of guys who can shoot the three. We will have to keep track of them. We may see a couple of 'junck' defenses thrown in for good measure.

Sounds like BS to me. So, they are saying that they don't have 7 players and one coach testing negative. I'm saying that they just didn't want to play with their current injuries. IMHO, the BSC needs to put their foot down on this crap. Suit up with your healthy guys and play the game. This 'PROTOCOL' crap is just pure BS. Play or take an automatic loss. They did this same crap last year. :willybs:

Game rescheduled for Monday, Jan 17th, 7:00 pm.

Word from Poky is that 2 or 3 of the reserves tested positive, but they had participated in practice and exposed the whole team. They had more than enough healthy players, but their protocol called for everyone to isolate. I believe that also means that they will not be able to practice again until everyone tests negative and after a predeterined amount of time.

The BSC had this thing right the first go around. Don't play = loss by forfeit. :coffee:

They'll practice regardless of whether they're allowed to or not. When have you known the Idaho State Bengals to follow the rules. :x

I don't think they will. It would be incredibly brazen for any team on total isolation to have a practice or team meeting. If they did, I'm sure the BSC and the NCAA would throw the book at them. They can have zoom meetings and review video independently from their respective pads. I don't think they can even go to the gym or be around anyone else for the perscribed time period, and then only the participants who test negative. This hurts ISU in a lot of ways. I think that none of this can pass the smell test. :coffee:

They could have handled this sooooo much better.
