Might be good to get things going now, since ISU will have at least 4, maybe 5 scholies they need to replace. If he is hired does he take over the team right away, or does Martin finish out the year?
 
Have heard a few different guys linked to this job... a little suprising, with the turnaround ISU has had this year.
 
Is Bill Evans still a candidate? I think SUU's administration was a bit quick in getting rid of him. He is an excellent coach and a defensive genius. His teams often ran a 1-3-1 zone that would smoother opposing offenses. He is a HUGE reason behind the Grizz's defensive prowess.
 
By all indications, this article is premature. ISU is not going to name a new coach before the current season ends and Martin will get every opportunity to make his case. I'm told ISU is down to three finalists, including Deane and Jones.
