ISU men considered for postseason?

According to Madison at the Journal, Steve Schaack confirmed Bill Evans was contacted by a non-NCAA sanctioned tournament as a possible entry into it.

It apparently was either the CBI or the collegeinsider.com tournament. (Didn't know about the latter one...don't know if I heard of it before) Supposedly they'd find something out Sunday night.

It's not the NCAA's but it would be nice to see the players have another shot after the way things went for them Thursday.

With 18 wins now, a good RPI and some momentum I would hope the women would also be considered for a tournament should they lose Saturday.

A lot of teams turn down CIT bids so you'll get some 200+ RPI teams in there. There's also the new Vegas 16 thing; I have no idea what caliber of teams will be in that.

I'd be surprised if the ISU women got anything (with a loss tomorrow). WBI at the absolute best, I would think. MSU will get the WNIT auto, NoDak will likely get WNIT, and Idaho has a shot (with a loss). Anyone else would probably be hoping for WBI at best.
