His video on Verbal Commits is encouraging. Seems to have a nice, smooth release from 3. Hard to tell what kind of competition he's playing against or his athleticism, but pure shooters are most welcome.

Came across this article on a big sky forum through google.

Gary chivichyan 2015 from mid academy, was a former alemany hs player. He averaged 18 or so a game his senior year in one of thr toughest leagues in the nation.
I have coached aau tournaments and work with various kids in the so cal region. I have seen Gary Chivichyan play in numerous games and he amazed me everytime more and more so then game before. He is a very athetic player, shooter and scorer that will be a major contributor to the division one level. From the sounds of it he is doing excellent in the academy now leading team in scoring. I came across a few links on YouTube. Showing his athletisim. I think bengal nation will be happy and I as a coach who has sent a few players to big sky am happy to see him there. Good luck isu!

Thanks for the info. Do you have a pronunciation guide? :D

....i'm sure that's what he means.....skippy is part of the crew that handles the Bengals' radio broadcasts...and who wouldn't want to be "ready" when VOTB says...."I wonder how you pronounce this name?"......

Well I just called and talked to some people who have met or workes the kid. He said apparently it is as you read it. CHI-VICH-YAN. Or, chee-veech-yan.

And his full name is Kah -ren gary chivichyan

Body type and playing style reminds me a little of Austin Kilpatrick.

it's a wait and see game of course just as any recruit. But I am pretty confident he will average way more then 5 ppg career wise That Kilpatrick averaged. i think he will, it will be very beneficial For isu.
