I don't know about those predictions but they will have a good year. WE have some guys that can play. I don't see them having a losing record before conference play.. WE have teams coming to our place that are beatable. 9-7 in the conference........ i am thinking at least 11 to 12 wins in conference play. I have been around these guys and they are going to be successful. Its their Conference championship to lose. I will just put it like that.gobengalsgo

6-7 wins. More than 6-7 and ISU fans will be happy.... that will mean several signature wins.

I could see us with a winning record going into conference. Now, it won't be easy, but I can see it. Coach O'Brien is awesome, and so is the whole team!!!

I am predicting a 7-7 OOC record and a 12-4 BSC record, and with the BSC tourney, I see us amassing 20 wins or there about this year. I believe our OOC wins are: EOU, LBSU, Idaho, BSU, Hawaii, Wisconsin-GB, and one of the Utah's (BYU, UofU, or USU). Plus, I wouldn't be shocked to see us sneak another one. In conference, I think we'll lose 3 on the road, and 1 at home. Seriously... Maybe it's just my wishful thinking, but these next two years, I fear NO ONE in the BSC, except maybe PSU...

Not having seen any of the new kids play or know how all the pieces fit together, I'm going to guess five or six non-conference wins and 10 in league. I see ISU as being as good a bet to win the conference tourney as anybody, with the "host" team having a significant advantage, of course. Some years, 10 wins is good enough to host. We shall see.

Weren't the Bengals predicting one of their best football teams ever for this season?? The basketball for the league is going to be highly competitive. I really don't think PSU is going to be the best in the SkY... The Bengals have a lot more to fear than the Viks...

ISU fans kill me. Every year they talk all this junk about how great their teams are,and every year they suck. So either Bengal fans are totally unrealistic or else their teams are classic under-achievers.
Just remember Bengal fans, you can dress up a cow pie anyway you want, but at the end of the day it's still just a pile of crap. :D

I can't believe that the Bengals actually think they will win any game. Shouldn't they be afraid of every team in the Big Sky?

In all seriousness... I really think ISU is going to be pretty good this year. Many are counting Weber out of the top, because we lack height and supposedly we are young and inexperienced (McCoy 1V/2JC, Morris 1V, Panos 2V, Davis 2V/1JC, Hansen 2JC, Carson 1V/1JC, Ramos 2JC, Cottle 1V, Benson 2V, Bullinger, Mahoney, Lillard, Dent Fresh). However, I'm not to worried about that. In 1995 and 1998 both teams starting C was 6-7/8. On the 98 team there was Eric Ketcham who was 6-9, but he played more of a roaming Forward and was a reserve. Harold was 6-6, Eddie 6-2, Baskerville 6-4, Marc Lawson 6-1, Jackson 5-10, and Smith 6-7/8. What made them a great team was three ingredients: Coach A, The Show and The Thrill, and, most importantly, Team Chemistry. You can have height, Speed, and Talent, but without team chemistry your team has nothing. I'm looking forward to the WSU/ISU games!! If Weber can't host, I always hope ISU hosts... Only because its close.

I do think ISU has a legit chance to win the conference. It all depends on the coaching staff. They have the talent to win it. They are very deep.I would say they go 9 to 10 deep easily. If ego's don't get in the way they will be really good. Finally have a few point guards to choose from.

So let me get this stright, Nevada loss, and Arizona State is a Toss up???? Wow those people just north of us are retarted. 1-2 against teams from Utah, not including Weber, that is rich. They will be lucky to stay within 15 of any team from Utah.
