ISU schedule

yikes i just saw ur schedule!!!!!!!!

Yup. There's a few $$ games worth. I'm hoping they will fare better in non-BSC games this year than the last few years. As experienced this group is, they should do okay, but it's still a gauntlet, in my opinion. Here's my prediction for ISU:

non-BSC: 4-9 or 5-8
BSC: 10-6 or 11-5

Thus far, the new PG sounds like the real deal. As strong as I see Morgan as a BSC-MVP candidate type of player, the keys to ISU's success will hinge on the consistent play from Carson, the inside presence from any combination of Busma, Tatum, Monroe, and Little, defensive rebounding, and 3-PT shooting.

Not saying that Coach OB pushed all-in with this group, but anything less than a regular season finish in the top two, and a BSC tournament championship could be considered a disappointment. The talent and coaching are there for a VERY good '09-'10 campaign.

I agree with your assessment assuming the new PG is above average. Its hard not to have a good team when you have 5 or more seniors...unless your Sac - sorry Sac.

ISU has had some insanely difficult OOC's these last 4 yrs. On the other hand I think WSU's is the weakest I've seen since our last coach who's final season was 2005-06. Minus our instate games our toughest opponent is UNLV so we better have a winning record in OOC if we're gonna be good.
