ISU vs MSU

This one will be fun to watch. They have not played the last couple of year I believe?
I pick this off the MSU site.

Ice Cold Kramer

Coach Kramer was libeled, slandered, and defamed
By A.D. Peter Fields, who should forever be ashamed
But Cats will pay for those gaffes
And Kramer will have his last laughs
When, in Bozeman, His next Big Sky crown is claimed!

Scapegoated, and down the river he was sold
Kramer's career for 5 years was put on hold.
So he rebuilt Idaho State
Now for the Cats, it's too late
'Cause revenge is a dish best served ice cold!

You should put this on their limericks thread.

I've got Montana State winning this one at home.

Whoever wins, it should be a fun game to watch.

I watched the second half of the Cal Poly/ISU game. The way ISU played reminded me so much of EWU. Prolific balanced offense, yet still seemed to struggle at times. When the time came to be conservative, or get after it, they went for it on 4th down, and through a long pass to convert. It was a blast to watch.

I wonder what they will be like without Arias. If they can get another dynamic passer, and keep a decent running game going, I could see them becoming EWU v2 in the conference.

i think the weather could play a major factor. not sure who the better rushing team is but it's supposed to be about 4 degrees in Bozeman at game time. Idaho state plays in a dome so I will go with the bobcats.

I'm going with MSU of this one, but I'm hoping Kramer can get his guys playing with a chip on his shoulder since the talking heads are going with the Cats.

I was more impressed with the Bengals than the Bobcats when we played both teams. I realize watching one game by each team is not much to go on but I think the difference may come down to coaching and game plan thus my choice would be the Cats.
I don't see the weather as being the determining factor. Coastal Carolina showed the Grizzlies temperature is a frame of mind.
Go Bengals!

I've watched multiple games with these teams, and there is no doubt in my mind that MSU is the more talented team. It probably isn't even all that close. But momentum is on the side of Idaho State, and it's becoming that time of year when softness creeps in with the Bobcats. For whatever reason, Montana State's offense has lost their rhythm, so if they can't score in bunches, Idaho State should have ample opportunity to squeak one out.

edit: guess I should read my posts before submitting. By Cats I meant Bengal cats. Kramer will out coach Ash hands down

NAU down to North Dakota 14-7 with 10 min left in the 2nd(was 14-0). At UND and if NAU goes down good for us...right?

update 21-7 UND on Big Sky TV

TD ISU. ISU 7 MSU 0.

Edit - Now 7-7. Neither defense looks very good. MSU is playing without Prukop and Shawn Johnson.

I didn't realize Johnson and Prukoup were out, that changes things. Where I had ISU winning 42-34, I am afraid MSU won't actually do nearly that well. ISU by 14 or 21 by the end I think.

Just turned it on. What happened to MSUs qb?

Also, now that NAU lost, don't we want MSU to win this game and then lose vs. the grizzz?

For an outright title, yes. For the auto-bid, it doesn't matter since we'd hold HTH over all of them. Of course, this is all assuming we beat PSU. Take care of business and we're in good shape regardless of what happens in the Big Sky.

That's what I meant. It would be awesome to have back to back outright championships as i don't think that has ever happened. But as long as we win against PSU, i'll be happy. Especially if we get a good seed.
