A successful season merited a nice send off and that took place tonight at the student center. A nice crowd showed up, dinner was great and everyone had a very nice time. Jason's 15 minute highlight video of the season was incredible, first rate job. The 18 wins by the team was the fourth time in the eight seasons Seton has been coach that the program has won 18 or more games.

As far as the awards, here is what happened:

Defensive Player of the Year: Anna Lee Policicchio
Most Improved Player of the Year: Saylair Grandon
Dana Beechie Award (Given to the player who most represents what it is to be a Bengal): Tressa Lyman
Deb Thompson Heart & Hustle Award: Lindsay Brown
Bob Johnstone Academic Athlete Award: Tressa Lyman (3.96 GPA)
Most Valuable Player Award: Anna Lee Policicchio

Seven Bengal players also were awarded the All-Big Sky Conference Academic Award:
Anna Lee Policicchio
Freya Newton
Tress Lyman
Juliet Jones
Saylair Grandon
Jenna Morch
Brittany Kochenderfer

Also honored were Apiphany Woods for being named Honorable Mention All-Big Sky Conference
Brooke Blair for being named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week (December 15)
Blair and Anna Lee Policicchio for being named to the postseason All-Big Sky Conference team.
