Hey all,
Just wanted to let you all know it was so much fun over the last several years being your host and all here in Pocatello...ironically, I got acquainted with most of the gang at an ISU/Weber State Volleyball match (of all the sports) back in 2007, and from there you all grew on me and to this day I reserve a little spot in my heart for you all
I've enjoyed watching Rahe coach you guys, he's a brilliant coach and a man with a good heart; you are so lucky to have him! I'm hoping everything turns out the best with Martin if he gets hired, but when that decision is made it won't matter for reasons you've all guessed:
I'm slated to graduate in May of this semester, and hopefully, if everything goes alright with the medicals, I'm looking at joining the Army afterwords. In other words, if everything works according to plan, I won't even be around next year to feel old with those of you who've already gotten married and graduated
My only regret about tonight is that I didn't get the chance to come say hello to you all after the game!
Best of luck this year to you guys, keep your heads up, and be glad that ISU is clawing its way back! Take it from an Ohio State diehard who's seen us whip the tar out of M*ch*gan for the last 10 years only to *finally* lose to them this past season, beating your rival senseless every single year gets a little boring (there was a period from about 2008-2011 where we considered PENN STATE our biggest rival because the Weasels up North were THAT bad). It will be fun to see where this goes!
Farewell to my Friends in Ogden, you've been a fun bunch of Purple Freaks to hang out with!
Sincerely,
-ISU Superfan, Ross Cunningham
